I'm just curious what folks think overall.
I hear they’re underpaid. Skeptical product will amount to much of the hype. Probably strong talent. Annoying to get stuck driving behind any of their cars.
I am amazed at how slowly they are moving. Google has an almost perfect 0% success rate on management-launched projects. This category includes Waymo.
They pay way-less, not way-mo

I legitimately wonder where this sentiment comes from. Why do you say that?
Given that they have basically infinite funds, Waymo serves as proof of the infeasibility of self-driving cars at this time.
What makes you think we have infinite funds?
BTW I appreciate your comment because most other comments seem to be hearsay about compensation. I'm really looking for what people think about the company from outside.
Hey Waymo I had a question. Can someone from Google refer me to Waymo or do they have to be from Waymo?
I had a question too, heard they dont have the same perks as google?
Worked at Google before. All the perks are literally identical.
Well that's reliving to hear, I'll take a referral then if you need a solid mechE. DM for more details
