WLB at adobe

I’m evaluating an offer from adobe. How’s the WLB and culture at adobe? Do PMs work from home? If yes, is it frowned upon or no one cares?

Sometimes I wonder if people even work here. Office is empty by 5pm

You must work out of the Seattle office.

I guess recruiters at Adobe are most lazy.

Good work life balance, nice perks. WFH depends on the group. When I first joined, we used to do once a week but now I usually do it a few times a year when my son is sick etc but some of my coworkers wfh a lot.

I work from home once a week. Culture and work life balance have been great in my nearly 5 years at Adobe. Never frowned upon to use your time off. Shutdowns company wide twice per year in addition.

Never seen a company take WLB more seriously than Adobe

WLB at Adobe is legit. Whenever I talk to people considering leaving this becomes a gigantic point of emphasis. It is truly ingrained in the culture that time outside work is valued extremely high. As far as work from home, as mentioned, it varies team to team. Most of my org is 100 percent remote but I would suspect a product team where you are collaborating a lot would want you in the office at least 80 percent.

always depends on team but in any management role I saw it matters that you drive. if your team is all in the office you better be there too. my team is around the world, so I only come in on days where there are on-site events. otherwise wfh, going to other offices.

WLB is legit.

I wouldn’t take more than 3 to 4 weeks off for PTO on top the 2 company shutdowns. If you take too much PTO your utilization will go down and you’ll get little or no bonus. You don’t a-crew pto each pay period, so if an employee leaves there is pto time to payout.

What team/role?
