How is Walmart Labs Search team for a machine learning role. Heard they are mostly PHDs in the team. Any input is appreciated. Also how's the perception of Labs in general. I have Amazon offer but I have heard Labs comfortably beats their offers.
If this is your first job, go where you will learn the most, not earn the most. Best advice I have ever gotten (still kind of ignored it). So go for Amazon if you feel the team and work profile is good there. I am not too happy about what I have achieved here.
Amazon profile is software engineering, Walmart is a ML profile. They seem to be working on fairly sophisticated ML models. I have had good backend se experience before.
Software engineering for in an ML team at Amazon? Also, what is your profile? PhD? Do you want to do research or implementation?
It's a very large team. Some very smart and some very stupid people Co existing. Go for Amazon if you want to learn. Come to Walmart if you want to learn politics
How about Search algorithm and relevance team. Amazon comp is too low :(
