Hello, I am kind of finalizing my team matching interviews at Jet/Walmart for the Hoboken office. I am interviewing with other companies too and will soon be able to get competing offers. Based on what i learnt online, they don't really negotiate RSU. It's 40k vests over 4 years so you get 10k per year. I believe i can get 300-400k TC in the bay area with my expected offers where 250-300k of it consists of cash(base+bonus) Now is it too high to expect Jet to offer me 260k TC which would breakdown as: 210k base 20% perf bonus 40k/4 RSU So they add up to 262k. I am thinking of asking this much. But I don't really know if Jet/Walmart can pay over 200k. Based on my research their salary range is 170-200k for Sr SWE (unless i am mistaken?) Can anyone confirm whether this is possible? If not what's the max TC that i can ask for, given if i can receive other offers?
Not sure about stocks but recruiter was rigid to move number beyond 160-170k base
Wow i thought base was 170-200k. Did you have competing offers
Your rsu is not 40/4..it's 40/year..25% vest each year. So you will vest 10+20+30+40 for first 4 year and then 40k every year after..
I get 40/4 then 40/4 refreshers every year. So in initial contract I will be getting 10k
Not sure how you are looking at it but it's 10+20+30+40
The salary you are looking for is the staff/principal pay band. Staff can get 240k-280k yr1. Principal is generally over 300k
What's the max for Senior?
Are you sure you’re interviewing for Jet? They don’t really exist anymore.
Walmart Hoboken then? The office was all purple. So🤷

I haven’t done shit today!
This base is like principal/x6 level. It comes with 25 percent cash bonus and somewhere around 80k over 4 in stocks
I see. What's the max senior swe base?
I’d expect senior base to max out around 180 (if they didn’t make any adjustments) to 190 (if they adjusted it to market)
