I'm brainstorming startup ideas with two PhD's who are hardware engineers at Amazon. Looking to add a software engineer based in the Bay Area who wants to found a company. PM me if you're interested, and I'll share some of the projects we've been working on!

İdeas are a dime a dozen man... PhD, Amazon, HW engineer... None of them say you have any execution experience... İt just tells me you will probably build a product with a "build it and they will come" mentality and it will probably fail like almost every other startup. Tell me what sets your team apart from all the others by telling me how you are going to sell it, what previous sales experience you have, how you identified the need our there. And how you are coming up with a product to solve that need. What manufacturing network do you have to build this HW product, etc.
> Iİdeas are a dime a dozen man... PhD, Amazon, HW engineer... None of them say you have any execution experience... Ideas are dime a dozen, true. Armchair criticism is totally free. OP said they're working, trying to build something. You have zero knowledge of what they're, what they're trying to do, how much they're working, but that doesn't stop you from critiquing. And you are the one to talk about what they build? If you're interested, ask for more details. Else STFU, when you have nothing concrete to offer, not even valid criticism.
Happy to chat in-person if you'd like more info. Short answer is we practice lean startup rigorously. We've spent over 80 pct of our time talking to customers. Two of us have started companies before, so this is not our first rodeo.
I’d like to invest.
