It seems LinkedIn is not doing a good job at finding candidates. That's why OP posted here.
What is the potential total comp?
Can I switch from hw to this role🤔
Recruiters never called me on time, 6 mins early 16 mins late...and this is not only one of them. One even skipped a call. Regardless I got to there and had an offer, but will turn down for FB. What I’ll remember is very good food. I believe they beat everyone else on that. The day I ate there menu was like a top French restaurant 6-course for free. Also restrooms were smelling like a rose garden. I think employees should be happy. On caring about employees they seem to be the best. One last odd thing, almost all my interviewers and most of people I saw in cafe during lunchtime were Chinese.
Is there an office in the Denver area?
Unfortunately not
Are there any roles selling analytics? With all that data, there should be an analytic sales team.
Is it easy to sell analytics?
Well, that’s too simple of a question. Selling is hard period. A key consideration any sales person should make, is “how good is the tool I am considering selling?” “Would I buy this tool @ the price, value, delivery time and such?”. The key issue in the marketplace with analytics is there are not enough educated & skilled professionals to leverage them. Advanced analytic technology is new to the vast majority of the fortune 1,000 still and it’s expensive in many cases. People on this app may think that is crazy due to their skill sets, but it’s reality on the ground. With the exception of ad tech, I am not familiar with a market that is leveraging analytics fully. (Open to different opinions) Selling analytics, like anything else, requires very specific skills just like writing code. Analytics requires specific domain knowledge, but so does selling cars or financial products. Attaining them is simply learning them.
What are your thoughts on someone from a BSA role? 6.5 yoe as a BA/BSA and 4 mo in car sales. I like sales a lot more than what I currently do, and I also like money.
What’s the sales pitch for memberships other than “want to see who’s been stalking you?”
Sales reps don’t sell to individuals. They sell corporate accounts to recruiters and sales teams who use the data to find candidates and/or prospects. They basically have a monopoly and it’s an essential tool for both audiences, so I’m sure it’s a good sales gig.
