What does it mean for Fitbit stocks? Is it wise to buy some now?

market will probably correct some in short term

but if you held beforehand, it's better to sell and reinvest in some other diversification. this position has done most of what it can for you.

Why would you hold a company's stock after it's announced they were acquired?
Sooner or later it will be converted to GOOG stock and until then there won't be much movement in FIT stock. I would rather free up my money now and invest it somewhere else

That part about converting to GOOG stock is what is making me consider holding onto it especially if it will convert. I realize those things take time and it’s likely not one to one but just want to know if there’s some terrible risk associated to holding onto the stocks.

You can buy google stock at any time. It’s good advice to sell on the news.

It went up when it was in the works and went up more now that it's purchased. You missed the deadline to get in on that news ride.

It's too tough to time the market based on news because you having the news means all the big trading firms are already acting on the news. There's no alpha there.

sell. current stock price is already close enough to the buy out price. if it doesn't go through you'll be shit out of luck.
