If Google has said they want to coach you before the interview, is that an indication of a behavioral analysis of whether u agree to that or not?
Is there a course for getting ready for your google interview coaching session?
There is. The google hiring website. (I’m not joking). Google tries and share information equally so that candidates can bring their “true self” and real assessments/decisions can be made. (It’s really ineffective if some folks have pockets of “secret” knowledge and tricks and other candidates don’t). I recently went through the process, followed what was outlined on hiring site to a T, and got the gig. I can’t emphasis this enough, do what Google says on the hiring site. Do everything exactly as outlined. Practice how they say practice, answer how they say answer....
What does that mean? Do they cost you before your official interview?
Both Google and FB offer a workshop once you pass the screen but before the onsite. I've only done Google's so far (FB wkshp I'm doing next week). The information wasn't really new or anything, but it was cool to go to the office and get at least a little feel for the culture. They give you some tips and you work through a problem. FB actually has a short happy hour at the end to mingle apparently.
The amount of time one has to invest to get a stupid low key, low responsibility job at Google and Facebook is ridiculous. I'm never going to interview in these 2 companies.
Can you share some details lol
Google interviews are becoming like indian 12th grade exams, people prepare for years on an exam only to realize later that it isn't worth it
Care to share some detailed thoughts?
I'm sick of all the fuss on Google interviews. Now Google interview coaching.
