Is the interview process of Waymo and Google separate? Can I apply for Waymo jobs in my case? I find a position that matches my background well. However I recently did onsite with Google and am currently in the team match process (which takes forever by the way). Thanks blind.
They will most certainly ask you to reintervirw. They have their own hiring committee and interview process

Understood. There are so many unpredictable things in the whole interview loop. But at least I have a fair try now that I know their interview process is separate. Thanks my friend! By the way, do you have any idea what's the hiring bar of Waymo like, similar to Google general SDE?
You can ask your Google recruiter to send your application to Waymo. You might get additional interviews. You can also apply directly, and let them know that you are in the matching phase. Or do both
