We need healthcare like Canada?

The Democratic Party has been strongly propagating for government funded healthcare like Canada. https://www.google.com/amp/s/business.financialpost.com/opinion/william-watson-why-canadas-best-health-care-system-just-got-ranked-last-again/amp What do you think?

Eliminate the wasteful, non-value add from health insurance companies and we could have single payer health care without the egregious wait times in Canada

Amgen Mrmephisto Apr 19, 2019

Good luck with that one...I don’t think we’ll ever cut out the middleman. Even the most ardent supporters probably don’t want to be seen as killing an entire industry. Hospital and drug pricing are equally big issues.

Oath Atinlay2 Apr 19, 2019

No we don’t need crappy rationed government healthcare! Also learn how to post a link.

You can buy private insurance in Canada if you don't want to wait

Microsoft PhitteMooh Apr 19, 2019

So it is a failure Why pay for it if you have to pay again for better service

Dell .+ Apr 19, 2019

It's a failure when it provides healthcare to millions of people who would otherwise not be able to afford it ? People with money will always be able to buy better/ faster care in any system, let's just accept that. Don't let perfection be the enemy of improvement.

The price is the issue, not who pays the prices.

In the US there is no waiting line. You just die.

Microsoft PhitteMooh Apr 19, 2019

Dude you don’t like it here move to Canada and enjoy the waiting lines there I am a Canadian I moved down and love it Actually I see a lot of Canadians here, never met an American engineer in Canada. Wonder why?

TripAdvisor owlwise Apr 19, 2019

I have private insurance so I don't need to move while I have a 1% job. But obviously I don't speak for all the Americans living or dead

Canada and US have pretty bad healthcare though. The US is by far the best. The insurance system can be better and less wasteful but healthcare in the US is by far the best

Uber pfototkfj Apr 19, 2019

I heard that people wait for long time in Canada to get a surgery! If that’s the case it’s bad if u earn more u shud have option to get the best treatment ! I agree that this thinking is a problem but I can’t think of scenario where u have government healthcare giving high quality care of the US!

Amazon ..🌋.. Apr 19, 2019

Bullshit that's propaganda from the US insurance companies. In the US however you will face delays on critical tests or treatment while the insurance company bickers over pre-approval and denies shit your absolutely need.

Microsoft PhitteMooh Apr 20, 2019

Lol no it’s not People die of wait times in Canada

Uber nYf6sJ Apr 19, 2019

If you have that, you'll sometimes drive to Mexico to see a doctor.

Google dh8aON Apr 19, 2019

lol nope If you want general access government healthcare make it an unsubsidized public option.
