"WeWork executives haven't yet finalized the specific cuts, but the numbers will be "in the thousands" – though less than the 3,000 to 5,000 layoffs that had been laid out in earlier media reports, said the source. Was my dream company...
You dodged a bullet
Release rumors of 5000 layoffs to make it seem better when it’s only 2000. 4D chess
Normally that'd be true. But WeWork the kind of place where they release rumors of 5000 layoffs but shut down operations instead. May I remind you that WeWork news has been worse with every extra layer unraveling, every single time.
They are going bankrupt. They’ll lay-off 100% of employees, this is just the first cut
I failed their interview last March. I couldn't set up a cube. They intentionally left some bolts out so I would be forced to Macguyver a proper solution. 😠
Lol wtf kind of interview is that? For what role?
i think that's an interview from Sillicon Valley TV show - you are supposed to be 'humble' and admit that you can't solve it.
The whole thing is going under, just a matter of time.
You know, I’m kinda glad I failed their interview process back in July. Blessing in disguise.
Did you eat meat on lunch break during the interview?
Didnt get that far. Woulda done video interviews if I had. I failed at implementing a thread safe queue in C. I hadn’t even heard of pthread.h before that interview so that was that.
