I'm starting a new web design firm with one employee plus myself. I already run a computer repair, managed service provider, IT consulting firm but am curious as to the experience of others in this field. What sort of revenues are expected in this field considering a fairly small initial investment (a few thousand dollars). Based in middle Georgia. We work on a monthly contract term ($150-500/mo) rather than a 1 time big payment with smaller risiduals. Will provide other details if asked.
There’s way too much variability here. It’s really a function of how effective you are at sales and what kind of clients you are going after. The sky is the limit of you get the right clients and start to expand. Also, really easy to work with small businesses and have relatively modest revenues.
