Weirdest interview experience

Met with cofounder (product guy) for final round today. He asked me take 1 interesting question asked in interviews of other company. He told me to whiteboard the code solution and explain to him. WTF, what was he testing?

Sounds like a “how well do you communicate something you’re already familiar with to someone on the business side” combined with “I wonder what other companies are asking” type of question with more weight put on the former than the latter.

Right if he wanted to check communication, why not just ask how my team operates or projects I have done

Technical communication is a different beast

Maybe you had already been rejected, and he was looking for an interview question for the next candidate 😂

He was trying to leave the company — used you as a practice interview to get him ready

Lame

Just tell him you never had any interview before. Or other candidates didnt ask intresting questions.

At least if someone asks you this question again you will have a good example to speak to

Was he trying to get you to reveal whether you’re interviewing at other companies?

The cofounder thinks very highly of himself.

Was very evident, he lacked professionalism
