Peeps. 1 year out post grad with a background in comp sci, 1 year of investment banking (fellowship), and a biotech startup in prototyping stage (hiatus). I'm thinking of additional coursework to get into software engineering or somewhere in finance. Anyone happy with their current job and want to suggest a field I could look into that's intellectually satisfying and pays well? Willing to put in the work + energy + time but I could really use some guidance.
Youâve come to the right place. Heard of FAANG?
ish. It stands for fb, apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google, right? IDK why but I feel like I need a rocket science degree to even get an interview there...
Rocket science maybe would help for Spacex, nasa, blue origin etc.. for those mentioned you need a couple of months of a leetcode.
Strategy or corporate development for a biotech/pharma company.
Thanks. Any idea how technical the interview process is?
Hedge funds or gtfo
lmao. I'm hoping for a slight work life balance.
Product Management. Look on linkedin. There are young attractive ladies all over the industry with zero tech skills and no background in the business who are PMs at your brand name tech companies đ
Thanks Uncle Xi. I'll do my research!!!

80ishk range. What are your thoughts?
Go SDE, or if you cannot get developers position go QA. It isnât the most intellectually satisfying, but pays ok. Once you get your foot in the door, you can move to developers position.
