Wework just removed tons of “phone booths” that release a carcinogen “formaldehyde”. Phone booths are common in many office spaces. - does your office have such phone booths? - how much time do you spend in such phone booths? - I find this concerning and am now worried about the quality of phone booths used in my office as I do tend to spend quite a while maybe few hours there as its quiet and enclosed. Instead of critisizing wework, lets focus on this issue at our offices, any thoughts? https://techcrunch.com/2019/10/14/wework-pulls-thousands-of-phone-booths-out-of-service-over-formaldehyde-scare/
Um... this is beyond unacceptable... how can this possibly happen?!
Do you find this kind of phone booths in your office bro?
No we have offices.
I wonder where were they made in?
This post reminds me of dissecting animals in school. You never forget that smell. The worst one was the cat 🐱 — still trying to forget that one (and that was 1986).
Mine was pregnant
How does that even happen?
If you read the article, they were purchased from a furniture manufacturer. WeWork did not make them. These types of booths are in thousands of major tech offices around the world. WeWork isn’t the only one
That’s what is concerning. How to ensure that such booths in our offices are safe? That was my question since many offices have these booths these days
It's simple don't use your office phone. Use your cell or Google voice if your company uses gmail
It doesn't surprise me. Everytime I used the phonebooths at one of the wework amzn offices I had terrible headaches the rest of the day. I assumed I was allergic to something in there
Poor WeWork can’t catch a break now in the media s**t storm. I’m starting to feel badly for the founder and the name. Next up is they don’t have enough toilets and people are peeing in bottles. Wait, that’s Amazon.
Don't feel badly for the Founder, he's the biggest douchebag ex-ceo there has ever been. And I've worked with him.
I wasn’t serious, I’m loving it LOL 😂
