I have a reasonably big YT channel that has coding tutorials / dev life content. I have been doing it just for fun but it got to 20k subs and started generating some income I can't ignore. I do not have any content that reveals anything I do at my company or anything that has conflict of interest. I still feel kind of uneasy. What would you do if you were in my shoes? Looking at the growth, it will hit 100k pretty soon if I continued this path.
Of course I'll subscribe, what's the link? :)
Keep doing what you’re doing.
With your lack of common sense , you are not hitting that mark anytime soon. At least put the link out there for people to check if its worth it.
How much income?
Just keep doing what you’re doing. I feel uncomfortable talking about my projects too, even though there is no conflict. Working on my project improves my WLB. And I don’t do anything with my personal projects during regular work hours(not even check stats) and vice-versa. Hope it helps. Congrats on being able to generate the income 🍻
Curious how much income comes from 20K subscribers. Mind sharing the ballpark?
Leave your job, and live peacefully.
