What am I worth?
Serious answers please and thanks in advance! I’m starting negotiations for a switch to a solutions architect / partner eng kind of role at a FANG. Here are my stats. What can I ask for in yearly TC? - 4 years experience at Microsoft and a big unicorn in the Bay Area as a software engineer - 1 year of internships - have both business experience and tech skills / able to talk to all kinds of clients - currently at 243k TC at Microsoft with stock appreciation

If I’m worth 30k I’m moving to Thailand. I want to switch because I like the teams project and partners and I want to do more than code monkey.
What level at MS are you at? 62? Going to a partner engineer level role at another firm such as Facebook would be huge stretch. I would focus on ensuring the right level/role. Compensation will follow.
A huge stretch in what way? I am actually very excited about this particular role and I actively pursued it.
