Asking for my financee who would start studying here. She has bachelor's in CS from India. Not considering U Wash Seattle campus because it's very competitive to get in.

Here are few options we've considered:
(1) Seattle University
(2) U Wash Bothell
(3) Washington State University
(4) U Wash Tacoma

Besides that is NEU Seattle campus good. Most of the information on website is about Boston campus hence not that relevant.

If not for these 4, do we have some good colleges in 500 mile radius of Seattle.

We are also considering Bay area colleges like SJSU, SFSU etc.

Our main concerns are :
vicinity to my workplace ( Amazon Seattle)
Job offers after the program
Machine learning courses
Good support for co-op, OPT, CPT

If MS is going to be her terminal degree isn't it important that she does it in the best place she possibly can? Also it's a 2y program and her odds of getting employed at one of the FAANG/ Airbnb/ etc will be higher if she goes to a better school. Why not apply all over the West coast and stick out the long distance for 2y for the benefit of her career and your future family income?
(Not saying it's going to work for you, but just curious)

You bring an interesting point. We would still only consider colleges close to Valley or Seattle or NYC regarding higher job prospects. Considering her GRE scores(315) and background(grades) I think top 40 are already out of reach, Once we are that low it probably makes sense to just go for Seattle U just for convenience. Please suggest if u know of any good suggestions in Bay area

Actually it might not be true. I know lots who entered good schools without stellar performances. It's sometimes a good statement of purpose and luck. You might still want to try instead of self rejecting before even trying.

UC santa Cruz, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis. The last is not in the bay area, but you can meet weekends. People also go to sjsu and SCU. Also try UCSB.

I myself tend to overshoot a lot and it's always served me well. Better get rejected than never try.

I am in the same situation for my wife. GRE is slightly lower side 305

She got in Syracuse and Portland state university.

If we do comparison Syracuse computer science is much better than Portland state university but to consider vicinity to my place we chose Portland state university.

You didn't mention online but I'm really enjoying OMSCS. GT is a good school too!

OMSCS doesn't make one eligible for OPT or CPT Afaik. Otherwise ya Gatech is very highly ranked
