What do people think about Brex? I get finance processing companies can basically print money - but can they survive Amex and others duplicating their offerings?
The product doesn’t seem innovative. They’ll be killed by Stripe or any other bigger player that does the same thing.
Waiting to be spanked by American Banks/CC companies.
Holysht, I give credit without too much scrutiny and suddenly I have phenomenal "growth"? How did that happen?
Don’t listen to the haters. The truth is that our modern underwriting techniques makes us more knowledgeable about an applicants risk compared to what traditional companies use to determine risk. This makes it so we can provide higher credit limits. Brex also provides the best software and tech experience with the card so startups that use Brex compared to SVB, AMEX, Chase, etc. quickly learn to love us.
I get that, but what about stripe?

Nothing ground breaking. Higher credit access for startups doesn’t remind you of mortgage with 0 down payment and bad credit? And no, those companies can’t print money.
