I am recently having lots of thoughts about changing my job. It is not about TC, it is about job satisfaction and motivation. I got fed up of my manager weird attitude and lack of support, I got tired of the office politics, and more recently, I lost the willingness of doing my job. I am working for this team for about three years and I am feeling in the same way that I was before I left my other team. I think you reached that point. There could be many signals like job satisfaction, low TC compared to peers, office politics, not being promoted, bad WLB, getting H1B/GC ...
When youâve stopped learning and are no longer having fun When itâs hard to get out of bed in the morning and you feel energetic when youâre leaving work When youâre one of the senior members of the team but donât see career advancement in the future When youâre doing more than your fair share and getting nothing back for it Itâs time to go đđđ°
Not getting support or right feedback from manager is make or break for me. Manager playing favoritism is another. Team mates acting weirdly cold is another factor.
Manager has been playing favorites at my work and it really is demotivating.
