What are the tech companies in Irvine that pay 200K+?
YOE 5 SDE II in Seattle looking for jobs in Irvine CA. TC 230K due to stock growth.
Google has office in Irvine
They do, but it's kinda small and not a lot of positions. They usually push you towards la office
Current openings are on infra teams. I heard its a branch of teams with member mostly based in other locations.
Do not move to Irvine. Tech scene there is absolute shit
Amazon and Google are easily the top two in the area. Some interesting smaller companies based in OC like Acorns, Cylance and Weedmaps may be worth checking out. Zillow, Oracle and IBM had some smaller dev teams in Irvine.
Thanks a lot I will definitely check out those companies. I found twilio also has office in Irvine. Not sure if I want to do internal transfer but that's one way out.
Strongly advise against it. If you actually expect to break 200k that is. Love the area though. It’s a shame.
