So many companies do not have bonuses. Some that say they do never pay them out if they don't want to. Don't rely on it

IBM. Technically we get bonuses but when it’s less than 1% and not every year it’s a bit of a joke.
Most Unicorns don't. I think Uber and Airbnb are the exceptions
Oracle pay 2k bonus on half of the years
Amazon. Depends on stock performance and employee performance, but there's no formal bonus concept.
I heard amazon will do some sort of bonus for successful project launch. Have you heard of that?
