Who wants to be with someone who wants you to do all the work ( akahousewife)? And if you have kids, who doesn't want to share that responsibility with your spouse (aka stay at home mom)... I don’t really have a preference. If she wants to focus on her career, I will support her 100 percent. If she wants to stay at home, I will support her too.

Seems like the duties a housewife does - cooking, cleaning, taking care of kids - can be replaced with hired help with that sexy combined TC.

I agree that career isn’t everything. I didn’t do a good job wording that. I moreso mean, non-ambitious (which I don’t necessarily mean in the traditional career sense). However, I don’t want kids, so I forgot that was a thing that could heavily influence someone’s selection of a partner for.
