Looking for TC with breakdown in both cases. I'm expecting an E6 offer shortly. No trolls please.
Why do you think you are top of the range, though? Base range for E6 is around 190-220. Refreshers for E6 are around 200k annually (so an initial grant around 600k-800k would be average, there are reports of getting 1m at E6). So annually TC would be around 400-450k. And can go as high as 500+k for an excellent offer.
OP please share your offer when you get one!
This is just for my calibration. I may get a median offer. But I want to compare with the top of that stack. Besides, interview performance was really good (based on their feedback to me so far). So aiming high :)
Around 450k for top 10% and around 550k for top 1%
E6 base 190-220. Bonus would be around 20%. Stock from initial grant would be around 150k-200k annually. Over time refreshers will bump TC. So 450k annually for a good E6. And after a couple of years ine can get to 550k+ TC with average performance on refreshers.
Thanks. Finally a to the point answer. :-) waz7 Breakdown is?
I think you could get around 450k if you land e6. Hard to offer much higher without a stellar background or competing offers from other top tech companies.
So to hit 600K mark I need to get to E7 for sure? I'm talking to Google FWIW.
Yes , mostly you should get E7 for 600k+ at Fb
it doesn't matter much 400k or 500k. make sure you select a team that you can survive. e6 survive rate <30% i heard.
This sounds brutal. What was your source? HR or magagers? Could this have been specific to an org?
multiple people told me based on their observations. i had slightly higher observation, maybe 50%.
Unless you join your domain expertise team, E6 can be brutal. I’ve heard of a few e6s who got fired. Codebase is huge and expectations are high. They won’t pay you top dollar for sitting on your ass.
@John_Snow Can you point me to some teams at FB good for E6 mobile
What does a top 10% E7 offer look like? What is the base, perf cash bonus and RSU breakdown?
+1
Are you even an L6 or a Troll? I hope you are a Troll because as an L6 candidate you're too stupid to be asking such questions. This information is available on Glassdoor.
Is this for IC or manager position?
How about IC?
As an L6 or L7 you will be expected to lead a project that impacts hundreds internally and benefits millions externally. I hope you are ready.
What is your current TC?
Too low to count/post ;-) Somewhere in the low 200s with 15yoe. Not Bay Area tho. Get the picture?
Then even an E4 offer at Fb would be better than what you are getting. You have no leverage unless you have competing offers. No way you get top 10%
