I'm obsessed with SpaceX and what they are doing. What's the best inroads into the Mars program? Can I get in as a .NET developer or should I look at something else? Musk says college degrees are a waste of time, but is that just a bunch of BS when it actually comes to getting hired at SpaceX on the cool projects?
Please don’t. If you have these questions you will ruin the mission.
lol
Besides just you being a dick. Is there any other reason why this comment is valid?
Physics. More physics. And then again physics.
You should look for what’s inside Gargantua and present it to Elon Musk. That’ll do.
.NET developer eh
The best way is to meet someone from the team. Find them at a trade conference and understand what they need. Or maybe you get to meet someone at a Falcon launch? Oh, and ignore the naysayers. If you are young, you have a lot of time to explore your passions. Good luck!
This. Passion goes a long way.
Thanks for actual advice
You can definitely get in with .net skills. The ERP application is written in-house in Microsoft stack.
Thanks
Elon is a lot of hot air. Degrees matter. HR/Recruiting goes to prestigious colleges and considers grades and test scores as gating a preliminary phone interview.
