I’m freaking out a bit and planning to pull all my stock investments in the next 3-6 months and hold on to cash (leaning toward the 3 month mark). The remainder of my NW is in properties which i’ll be holding on to. what are you doing with your big money in the near term considering the obscene market conditions?
Don't try to time the market.
Totally not trying to do that but don’t you think that prices have been down right outrageous? I feel like I’ve been robbing the bank for the past few years and the sirens are getting louder and louder.
Couldn't tell you. I thought the market was overpriced at 2016 but am smart enough to know never to time the market. The only way to miss is to be out. If you time horizon is more than ten years, don't gamble.
I have 20 unvested RSUs from AMZN and only 10k of debt left on my student loans. So pretty great. Basically rich now
Pull it all out. You’ll feel better.
But it feels good inside. Lol jk
😅
Keeping it in market.. how much have you got invested in the stock market?
How much longer and which areas? ~1.7m of my own money and ~2.2m in unvested RSUs.
I have ~ 800k long term in tech, consumer cyclicals, indusrty, a bit in utilities as well. and about 100 k i kinda play with. so buy, sell every 2-3 months
