What does your stock refresher amount to?
Tagged FB because i know they have stock refresher, idk about others. If your company does equity refreshers, how much does it typically amount to for your level and role? is it approximately equal to your initial grant? TC: student
At Snapchat it’s generally 1/8 of your intitial equity grant twice a year
How is there no cliff? In year 4 you make 7/16 * initial-grant. In year 5, you make 4/16 * initial-grant.
Cliff usually refers to a waiting period to vest. Snapchat used to have a “one year cliff” which meant that if you left before one year, you never got any RSUs. They have removed this. You basically start getting RSUs monthly starting your second month.
