What is Amazon l5 QAE compensation in Seattle?

Hi there. I was wondering what a reasonable TC would be for a QAE position at Amazon, Seattle with 5 yoe (L5). I’ve got an on-site interview scheduled soon and the recruiter wants my expected TC for the role. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Golden rule ! Never give out a number ! Just put in industry standards

Look if they are asking a question before the last interview - then just avoid the question saying “ i am looking for industry standard and i would be happy to have this discussion if things go good in the last interview . Dont want to rush things . “ If asked after the interview same shit “ i am looking for industry standard “ , expectation is industry standard and i am pretty sure you have the data in hand for the same “, “i would like to hear from your end what the number looks like per industry standard” Dont feel awkward saying this and dont feel this will have a negative impact . The second u will think that u will get restless and will give a number and then they will have ur the balls in their hand .. be extremely calm . U nailed it so they will offer u an offer regardless and they will negotiate on what their budget is (which u have no idea) . They are pushing u for a response , u have to be on the same page by pushing back with no number .. hope this helps

This helps a lot!!! Thanks so much! I see that you work in Amazon ... are you a developer or a QA person? If you’re from the QA background, could you let me know how the final round is going to be and how technical it can get? I know they focus on DS and algms but what would be the difficulty level of the problems? I’m not a genius at coding so I’m a little worried about that.
