I did a search and couldn’t find a definition that satisfied me. Now, I know it stands for Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, and Google. Does it only apply to those companies? Or is FANG a general term to designate a large, cool company to work for? Would Oracle, Apple, Boeing, etc be considered a FANG?
Nope. And generally I say FAANG to include Apple as well.
Lol this isn’t true at all XD they are prestigious but that’s not where the name comes from
Not even a little
FANG (or FAANG for Amazon + Apple) was a term coined by Jim Cramer of Mad Money to describe hot, high-mktcap tech stocks. Morons on Blind clung to the grouping as if it’s indicative of anything relevant to engineering culture & compensation.

do enough search and u will figure out ( if it’s not a troll post )
Not a troll at all. I did a Google search and found some definitions and the origin of the term. But sometime there’s a difference between the definition and how it is used in the real world.
