I am a full stack web developer, and applying for internships for next summer, I wanna know what kind of work does full stack, or front-end, or backend developer generally do at these companies. Do they develop websites or parts of websites with framework like react and node or do they write some library or anything else? What can improve my chances of getting selected?
Start your startup. You'll answer your questions.
Here I am developing the full website with my idea from scratch.
If you're not in visa, I would highly encourage you to do that. There is plenty of resources and easy to get rich or grow in tech, once you break. Build a product.
Of course most frontend people work on product. Why would you put an army of frontend engineers to write new libraries. How many new libraries do you need? Of course there are small teams that build the core components but they are very small and selective with who they hire.
Front end developers add 1px padding to a button and run a/b tests. By running these tests they hope to prove that this padding has increased the number of visitors, then they claim impact and ask for exceed expectations rating.
Butthurt much?
Big companies typically have frontend and backend teams separate such that developers don’t do full stack except few situations.
Bugs. You fix bugs.
Is it easy to get into Salesforce, than other FAANGUM companies ?
