I am looking for a new role and in most of my past roles I've seen bad onboarding practices where you're just supposed to figure it out... And those are places I've not liked working at. So I'm hoping to find companies who have it figured out from Day 1
not Microsoft, that's for sure
Onboardings not even bad, it doesn’t exist at all. Here’s your first sprint task, now go fuck yourself and die in a fire.
😭😭😭😭
amazon. no classroom onboarding at all. you start working from day 1. bug fixing is the best onboarding process.
Do they assign you a buddy to help out with other stuff?
Fb bootcamp, by a mile.
What do they do in the bootcamp?
They zuck hard.
