Its my long time dream to work in one of FAANG, MS or Linkedin. If you ask me the reason, I would say getting to work with good people, work on new technologies etc. More than the above reasons, I just want to work in those companies. I tried most of these for the first time recently. But couldn’t manage to get into any of these yet. Below is the score card from last few months. Amazon - No offer after onsite FB - phone screen failed Paypal - offer Ebay - offer Google - No offer after onsite Vmware - offer Linkedin- No offer after onsite. Clearly I am not that bad as I could crack few of the good companies above. I think Some of the rejections are funny. I don’t know what I m doing wrong w.r.t FAANG. My work experience is mainly in Networking and Distributed Systems. Any suggestions/openion on what can be wrong and what are the next steps?
Keep trying, you will make it once day.
Wonderful. This statement made my day.
Keep trying. I know it’s easy to say just leetcode... but a lot of it actually boils down to perseverance.....
Luck affects the outcome way more than it should. You definitely seem to have what it takes to crack fang. Keep trying and best of luck!
Keep trying but don't beat yourself to get into FAANG.. there are so many companies that are not known but doing very interesting works... Your reasonings are also wrong - you don't need any referrals - you don't have to work in a well known companies - number of years experience doesn't matter, quality not quantity
My performance in interviews is decent. Particularly in one of the company, it is top notch. So I was thinking of above reasons. But maybe you are right
What are those companies btw ?

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
Why do you think you got rejected?
I think different reasons. 1. Not having an internal referral or not knowing anyone in the company who can vouch for my work 2. Not from very well known company 3. Experience: I already have 17 years of experience. I still look pretty young though 4. Bad luck 5. My performance in the interviews.
When you say performance. You weren't able to get an optimal solution?
