Apart from being good at data structure and algorithms, what programming language is expected to know I have to get into Salesforce company?
No language necessary, just walk into their lobby, you will "get into Salesforce company". However if you want to "get a job at Salesforce", "be a dev at Salesforce", or "work at Salesforce", it depends on the role.
There is no specific language to know, we heavily use java on our application side so knowing any object oriented language will help.
I have over 20 years experience on erp side as technical/ bit of functional and now woke up from the coffin so looking for advice on how to get into Salesforce. I have worked with Salesforce more from integration perspective but not as a Salesforce expert. Do you think it’s way too ambitious dream to get a job of like technical lead or architect. Honestly I am lost and looking for some advice on where to start...
So we have Principal engineer and Architect which you can aim for but generally architect is hard to get from outside. But I would suggest to look for position that suits your profile and read on the requirements for that. You can start doing leetcode in your language of choice and and start reading on system design. But for position of architect you will need to demonstrate exceptional skills on system design.
Thanks for the information, appreciate it.
