I just got an offer from Google in which they are ready to pay much more than what I am earning( 170 K) However they want me to start right now as they need two pay stubs to apply for my h1b visa. This is my third time and I am super freaked out about it. My current company has the same immigration attorney as Google and hence there is no benefit to that. I am just scared that if Google messes my immigration up I will be in a big soup. What should I do?
That's BS. They don't need paystubs to apply for new h1b
I am in google. I do see we need to submit two paycheck stub for h1b package. But I don’t think it is necessary because I did not submit my paychecks last year.
I was still in grad school and oracle filed H1B for me. I don't think you need pay stubs.
You don't need paystub for h1b, they need to use information from the new offer.
Always have the h1b transfer petition approval in hand before switching employers. Joining just based on receipt is super risky.
Approval of what?
