1. Google - not much opportunity to implement projects from scratch, relatively stable code 2. Apple - new project, lots of code to own and implement Yoe:1, TC:115
Your survey is what I called a biased one ... so I think you already know what you wanna do. Just follow your heart.
The problem is you might get promised about some really cool high quality work but might might turn out to be ok-ish work.
Both are good companies. You will be here in a week whining regardless of the option. You can’t predict future or what will happen to your team or product. Good luck ;)
How do you know it’s a great team? How long has it existed and does it have good external visibility and reputation?
Don’t make a decision based on the team unless you have inside info. You can’t lie about TC in an offer letter, but nothing prevents managers from exaggerating how interesting the work is.
You should pick the one you didn't pick, buyers remorse.
Apple infrastructure <<< Googles infrastructure. Great if you are building infrastructure at Apple, very frustrating otherwise
Lol google has way more perks and better wlb. You’ll be miserable at Apple most likely and everything is so secretive. Plus they expect you to work weekends and stuff and no free food. Who cares what project you’re working on? You can change teams pretty easily at google afaik. Also it probably means less work for you so why would you want to do more work?

Both companies have (different) pros and cons that is hard to appreciate until you’ve worked there and then worked somewhere else (and i speak from experience) so to make it easy for yourself just go with a higher comp.
The comp difference is only 15k over 4 years. Really insignificant.
Tell that to recruiter? Maybe they’ll be willing to make it easier. I’m just spitballing here. Also if you are junior/mid, it would be easier to level up at goog but ymmv
