Still waiting for the dust to settle since we are now part of the Phone Company. “HBO Max” that name...sounds bland and uninspired to me and most of my colleagues, but I wasn’t invited to that brainstorm. As far as the pay, it’s okay—they’re not giving out Netflix level money, but always negotiate for more than the first offer! I genuinely like all of my coworkers, so the culture is really great.
WB is my 4th studio, by far the best folks, great employee resources and decent content. Every studio complains they aren’t paid enough but this is the first studio Ive been at where staff gets profit sharing bonuses. No clear outlook of how att will continue but dismantling HBO was kinda sad. Att is focused on cash and paying debt, less so on content and preserving the old TW structure
