What are some roles that are good for taking a 1-2 year break from software engineering and which I could easily interview for right now? I *think* I may want to come back to SWE but ultimately at some point I want to launch a business and then perhaps someday work in venture capital. TPM? Product Management? Partner Engineer?
Also interested in answers to this as I’ve been thinking the same. With 3 kiddos, health insurance is my biggest concern in stepping out of the comfort of the Corp world into the unknowns of starting something of my own.
