Add acting to that and it's the holy trinity of hypersaturated jobs. For good reason though. Software development also sucks big time if you think about it which explains the median pay being much higher and entry barriers much lower

Isn't there lack of people interested in people relations i.e Manager but with a bit of technical knowledge?

Project Manager. Get a PMP and you can manage sw dev projects (or whatever).
Does a PMP really help with software management? I feel like it's forced from other engineering fields into software engineering. I think product management would be more useful but there just isn't an industry standard certification like PMP.
Why do people need to receive pmp certification to manage projects ?
