Is there some level of TC at which point you’d have to cross over to an office job to earn more? If so, where does that point lie?
This is a stupid question. We have remote SVPs who make millions a year. The guy who built AWS lives on a boat in Hawaii, easily makes millions a year, and as a distinguished engineer no longer has to work, so this question is meaningless
I do sales 100% remotely. The potential is unlimited, not to mention it has the $ benefit of working in low COL area for clients in high COL area.
Plenty of remote swe ICs at Facebook, but usually have to be a specialist to have negotiation leverage to achieve that and fly in every so often I'm sure some are pulling 450+
There is no such thing as a max
Ok so who’s actually making half a million dollars a year working remotely?
Shop owner
That’s not a SWE
