What's up with UBER?
I have some solid experience in product management and big accomplishments to back it up. However it's almost impossible to get my application moving @ Uber. Have had a few initial discussions with different teams @ that company and they all showed interest ,but then they just vanish before executing the next steps. What's happening @ Uber in connection with hiring ?
I've had the same issue recently! Recruiter ghosted me right when she was supposed to schedule my final round. Oh well...
Oh yeh. They let recruiters not to get back to candidates in case of no hire. Pretty lame. You can try to to her/him and get some feedback if you're lucky.
If you have offers from FB and Google why are you holding out for Uber??
I’ve seen this with Uber for myself and few other folks. The recruiter headhunted me, they found a good fit..they scheduled an interview ..1 hr before the interview they said they’ll need to reschedule as something came up. They never got back thereafter!
Uber is still pre-IPO. With huge debts but still can go big.
They shuttered a lot of teams to focus on core. Perhaps you applied to one of the teams that were recently put on hold it shuttered.
I think our recruiting is just overwhelmed right now. Just ping your recruiter again and again to get to top of their inbox. Sorry to hear this is happening.

Maybe you are over estimating yourself
I am more than certain that's not the case. I have offers from FB and Google, but am looking to see what Uber could offer.
