Last December, Altria paid 12.8 billion for a 35% stake in JUUL. Every employee got 1) a one time bonus of #vested shares * $150 2) annual target bonus * 4, to be distributed over 2 years 3) 54% increase in unvested stock It minted maybe 30 or so new millionaires out of the company’s 1500 employees at the time
