Most interviewers want to schedule the interviews on weekdays, usually between 9 to 5, either Skype or Onsite, but this is also the time that I'm supposed to be working. How do you find time to interview? Or do you usually quit your job first and then start interviewing?
PTO if it’s 4+ hour onsite interview marathon.
Definitely don’t quit your job first.
Take a vacation day or two.

For less than 1-2 hrs session can just ask a short absence....sick or whatever reason will work. Onsite definitely a day off: sick leave or PTO..
I take vacation.
I think the more interesting question is what time of the day people prefer to interview. My guess is too early in the morning or right after a carby lunch (lunch coma) is a bad idea (see the statistics about judges / court cases before vs. after lunch). If I'm tired my mood tends to not be that great, and I wonder if an interviewer will feel more negative in general.
