When does the first month GSU vest?
Joined Google early December, 2018; still haven’t got the GSU award on the chosen broker. Those who joined lately, do you recall when did your very first vesting happen? I assumed it should be next to the hiring month, so in my case January 2019. However, heard often it takes longer. Thanks for any input.

Whyd you leave Facebook?
+ comp (~40% up) + quality of the team/project + Facebook’s hacky culture seems not conducive to grow as a quality engineer over long run + poor management in most of the teams + WLB was not terrible, but hopefully Google would be bit better; my role is in a high-growth team, so likely it’d be probably 20-25% more efforts than a relaxed role
Did you accept the grant on the broker website?
No; I haven’t yet got activation email from the broker in 4+ weeks.
I didn't even receive account opening instruction from my chosen broker. I chose on day 2. When did u receive it op?
Joined end of November and didn’t get it either. The internal do says to be patient for 8 weeks for the broker to create the account (what kind of IT is this?) The thing I don’t know it how they’ll manage the grant date (supposed to be the first Wednesday of the month following you’re joining date, if you joined in Dec. it’ll be granted early January and supposed to vest in Feb for the first time IIUC)
