When is it safe to internal transfer at Microsoft to prevent your last team from screwing your review?
I am looking for a new internal job around May and June. When is it safe to accept the new offer so that my old team cannot tank my bonus or review? Thanks.
September 1st to guarantee it even if your skip’s skip holds a vendetta and wants to screw you over.
It's not a vendetta that I am concerned about, but if a manager knows that I am leaving anyways, why would he bother fighting for my promo or bonus? I guess I am just looking for a bonus lock-in date. I suppose that would be Sept 1st.
