I was wondering where I could play golf in Seattle without spending a fortune. I’m a new player and want to practice by either getting a one time membership with access to the course or a nominal fee each time. Any golfers out there with suggestions or ideas? Thanks appreciate your inputs.
Go to a sports field. Soccer, baseball, football field. If you have a large enough park you can practice too. Just don’t be a Happy Gilmore and your good
University of Washington driving range and Jefferson Golf Course on Beacon Hill.
Thanks will check them out.
Driving ranges are beyond boring though
If you are on the east side then Bellevue golf course is decent. You can also try Newcastle.
I had a question about the Bellevue golf course. It says an 80$ fee; is that only for tournaments? Or can I use the course? If not do I have to pay each weekend when I want to play?
I typically go for driving range and maybe practice a bit on the putting green, which is free. You pay for the tee time. Look up other posters comment on finding tee times and prices. Btw this is also covered under the $800 health benefits if you chose that.
Try teeoff.com or golfnow for deals on tee times.. they're also good places to discover courses
Thank you, will check it out.
University of warshington
Jackson golf course has a short par 9. It’s about $10 to play.
Thanks will check it out
If you are looking for a small par 3 course to just get better. Check out interbay golf course they also have a full scale driving range. Won't break the bank on you. Stay clear of the Oki golf courses if you are looking to save on the pocket book. If you get better and are looking to fully commit one season. Buy the oki card at the start of the season. Lots of free rounds and huge discounts in the area.
There is a par-3 at the southern end of Greenlake.
