I want to leave SAP. Being labeled as a “high performer” and seeing that turn out to be a $20 increase per paycheck isn’t fun. What should I start learning when all I can do is ABAP , SAP SD and strong customer facing communication skills. And I’d like to stay in the east coast. Not uproot life for this company. I’ll go anywhere - salesforce looks nice I am also a USCF rated chess expert so my strategic skills are pretty good
Svpg blog and books (Inspired) is a good start. Also just start applying and interviewing. Jump into it!
🙄
Looks like SAP increase of $20 is on par with Intel. Good to see that Intel is not alone.
Is move into project management logical at this stage?
Join Product HQ blog and Slack channel as well as Mind the Product blog and slack channel to meet other PMs and follow different topic. Find an internship opportunity in a good company, without experience it’s going to be hard to land to full time Job at once.
I’m considering going back to get my mba full time and just change careers entirely. I was lucky enough to get through undergrad debt free so this would be my first debt
I wouldn’t worry about MBA, during that time you can get experience and even higher salary than if you will wait to finish MBA
ABAP?
It’s the coding language that all SAP backend applications are built upon
