How’s the job market? It is finally heating up?
I'd prefer Amsterdam. Smaller city that has some tech gigs. Elastic is HQ'd there.
Dublin, Ireland - many big companies have offices there. London is said to have a dynamic start-up environment. All that if you can stand the weather :)
Stockholm has a bunch of startups
Why are you going to Europe? Green card/H1 issues ?
Amsterdam - Uber European HQ, Priceline’s Booking.com HQ, eBay to name a few. Quality of life is great and you get tax benefits for 8 years after the move as an expat (the partner doesn’t though)
Go home bruh!
Maybe Zurich needs to be added it's Google's European Dev headquarters if I am not wrong
Yep. European quality of life, Bay Area salaries
Is this true? Someone from our department is joining Google Zurich soon. I didn’t know they pay Bay Area salaries though....
Moscow
Ireland. Quite easy to relocate, a lot of companies are hiring. No restrictions/caps regarding nationality. Spouse can’t work, they need to obtain work permit in order to work.
And the beer is good and the pubs are plenty. Cheers !
Berlin
What all companies are there?
Berlin is a shithole
