Male, 23. Joining a remote friendly startup. What should I do? Preferences: Nothing strict but looking for a better social life, want to live in downtown so its not dull, good dating, good savings. I dont like moving often because that hits social life so looking to make a wise choice.
Florida, no state income tax. Burgeoning tech scene. Beautiful people (depending where you are). Colorado is pretty sweet too, if you're into the mountains. Check out Boulder for a small city vibe, Denver for a more cosmopolitan vibe. Lots of delish beer.

Buy a trailer with a bed and drive the country!
One moment I read as $23 M worth candidate looking to retire. Now I realize you are just a 23 aged lazy male who just passed out from college. Work hard, move your ass to different places to double your income, get marry and have kids (if you have plans ). Then you can think of a place to settle
Updated. Not lazy at all though! For my mental health, I really want to be at a place where I’d feel happy for the next year at least. Need a decent happy 2020 :)
Then stay where you are. Enjoy with your friends with nice food n weather
You can move within Bay Area and you may get new friends 👫
Can’t pick a place until you show TC.
I have lived in 4 of the 5 places you mentioned. I would recommend NYC. But, believe me, some cities that are not too much in the tech scene are the ones where younger people should stay to explore life and culture. Try Chicago, Nashville, Boston, KC, SLC, Minneapolis, or DC. Blind app is extremely biased to Bay Area and Seattle.
Well worst place will be Bay area because it's expensive. Florida is amazing, why not Miami\Tampa? Warm weather all year long
Spend two weeks in each and then decide. All about who you meet and jive with.
Different country?
Nope, immigrant here :)
