So there are so many from other faang but I haven’t seen any from Netflix. Became interested in this company lately so want to give a try. Any tips?
You can get them in Netflix interviews
Can't, because they only call you in if you have over 5,000,000 years of experience.
No two interviews are the same.
Thought they hired everyone and then just fire you if it’s not working out?
That's Amazon.
And fb
Hi , I am not a Netflix Recruiter. AMA
You can’t leetcode your way in. That’s why.
Tips would be to brush up the basics really well and be able to design a system according to requirements. You won’t find tricky puzzles or unnecessarily complex or irrelevant coding questions. Interview will be mostly to judge whether you know what you say you know well. They also test a lot for culture fit so be prepared for answering questions about resolving conflicts, difficult conversations with colleagues etc.
And it is true that Netflix looks for at least 5 years of experience, mainly aims to hire mature engineers. I have seen a few mature engineers here with fewer than 5 years of experience though, so depends in the recommendation and whether you can demo maturity during interview process
