Where to find cofounder
I have an idea that I have been working on and I do believe that this will be great. I am preparing to apply for YCombinator coming winter and I would like to know where to meet technical cofounder. I am also software engineer and I am looking for a cofounder because 1. Investors do not like single founder 2. To share the workload 3. Checks and balance in perspectives and directions in case I get too absorbed Where can I meet people who do not necessarily change their minds due to higher TC offer from other companies? Maybe I am asking this question to the wrong people because people in blind only care about TC but I want to meet enthusiastic, adaptive, smart cofounder
Meetups, events, conferences. Just find smart people and keep chugging along on your project. If they're interested they'll make it known.
Pm the idea
Make sure you protect your idea with an NDA before you go into specifics with anyone. Also look for someone who believes in the vision as much as you, not someone who is just interested in getting founder on their resume
Thank you for the heads up! Will be quitting my job and going to dedicate full-time in less than a year. I will look for someone who believes in the idea and show as much determination
But don’t make investors sign NDAs, they’ll know you’re an amateur.
